Quebec Unveils Plan to Resume Private Health-Care Services – May 20, 2020
In Quebec City, Danielle McCann, Quebec's minister of health, and Jean Boulet, the minister of labour, announce details of the province's plan to reopen private health-care and personal care businesses such as dentists and hair salons during the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. They are joined by Dr. Richard Massé, strategic medical advisor with Quebec’s public health department. Private health-care centres will be allowed to reopen starting June 1 everywhere in the province. Personal care businesses outside of the Montreal region and the area around Joliette can also reopen on June 1. (no interpretation)
