Quebec COVID-19 Update: Libraries and Museums Can Reopen on May 29
In Montreal, Geneviève Guilbault, the deputy premier and minister of public security of Quebec, provides an update on Quebec’s response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. She is joined by Dr. Horacio Arruda, the province's director of public health, Chantal Rouleau, the provincial minister responsible for the Montreal region, Nathalie Roy, the provincial minister of culture and communications, and Dr. Mylène Drouin, Montreal’s director of public health. The Quebec government will allow libraries, museums and drive-in movie theatres to reopen on May 29. At the libraries, only the lending services will be available. Access to shelves and to common areas will remain prohibited. (May 22, 2020)
