COVID-19: Canada Responds
P.E.I. Reports Three New Cases of COVID-19 – July 4, 2020
At a news conference in Charlottetown, Dr. Heather Morrison, the chief public health officer of Prince Edward Island, reports three new cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease), the first new cases in the province since April 28. One of the three new cases involves a worker at a Charlottetown long-term care home. None of the three cases is believed to be related to the recent lifting of restrictions on travel between the four Atlantic provinces. Dennis King, the premier of P.E.I., also takes part in the news conference.
