COVID-19: Canada Responds
COVID-19: 4 New Regions Move To ''Pre-Alert'' Level In Quebec
In Quebec City, Quebec Premier François Legault provides an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. He announces that the regions of Montréal, Montérégie, Chaudières-Appalaches and Bas St-Laurent are moving from green to yellow under the province's new alert system, which means they are now in a pre-alert mode. Eight regions are now classified as ‘’yellow’’, while all others are still at the first level. The government unveiled its four-level regional COVID-19 alert system on September 8. The premier is joined by Christian Dubé, Quebec’s minister of health and social services, and Dr. Horacio Arruda, the province’s director of public health. (September 15, 2020) (no interpretation)
