Manitoba Health Minister on COVID-19, New EMS Station – September 16, 2020
At a news conference in Selkirk, Cameron Friesen, Manitoba’s minister of health, announces a new $4.2 million emergency medical services (EMS) facility will be constructed in the city. The minister also responds to questions about the province’s response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. He is joined by Alan Lagimodiere, the MLA for Selkirk; Ron Janzen, vice-president of corporate services and chief operating officer of the Interlake–Eastern Regional Health Authority; and Louise Alaire, director of emergency services for the Interlake–Eastern region for Shared Health.
