COVID-19: Quebec Raises Alert Levels in Several Regions – September 20, 2020
At a news conference in Montreal, Christian Dubé, Quebec’s minister of health, announces the raising of the state of alert for COVID-19 from yellow (early warning status) to orange (moderate alert) in the Montreal, Quebec City, and Chaudière-Appalaches regions. Parts of the Lanaudière and Laurentides regions are having their alert levels raised from green (vigilance) to yellow. The minister is joined by Dr. Horacio Arruda, Quebec’s director of public health, and Dr. Éric Litvak, deputy strategic medical advisor to the Direction générale de la santé publique.
