COVID-19: Quebec Moves Two New Regions to "Alert" Level – September 22, 2020
At a news conference in Quebec City, Christian Dubé, Quebec’s minister of health, provides an update on the province’s response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. He announces that two new regions (Outaouais and Laval) are moving to orange level for COVID-19, meaning they are now in "alert" mode. New restrictions apply to these regions, including reducing the maximum number of people allowed at indoors gatherings from 10 to 6. The minister also announces that the region of Centre-du-Québec is moving to the yellow level, meaning it is now in "early warning" mode.
