COVID-19: Canada Responds
COVID-19 in N.B.: Mandated Masks in Moncton, Campbellton Areas – Oct. 12, 2020
In Fredericton, Dr. Jennifer Russell, New Brunswick's chief medical officer of health, and Dominic Cardy, New Brunswick's minister of education and early childhood development, provide an update on the province's response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. Dr. Russell clarifies outdoor mask rules for the Moncton and Campbellton regions, which were moved back to the orange level under New Brunswick's COVID-19 alert system on October 9. The use of masks is mandatory in all indoor and outdoor public places in both of those areas. The rest of the province remains at the lower yellow level, with mandatory mask use in all indoor public places. (no interpretation)
