COVID-19 in New Brunswick: 8 New Cases in Moncton and Campbellton Regions

In Fredericton, Dr. Jennifer Russell, New Brunswick’s chief medical officer of health, and Premier Blaine Higgs provide an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. The province is reporting eight new cases of COVID-19. Two of the cases are linked to the outbreak at Notre-Dame Manor, a Moncton-area special-care home. Six cases are in the Campbellton region. The Moncton and Campbellton zones were moved back to the orange level under New Brunswick’s COVID-19 alert system on October 9, while the rest of the province remained at the lower yellow level.
