COVID-19: Canada Responds
COVID-19 in New Brunswick: Moncton Moves Back to Yellow Level
In Fredericton, Dr. Jennifer Russell, New Brunswick’s chief medical officer of health, and Premier Blaine Higgs provide an update on the province’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. Dr. Russell says she recommends that Zone 1 (Moncton) moves back to the yellow level, following a decrease in the number of new cases reported after the area was moved to the higher orange phase. She adds that Zone 5 (Campbellton) must remain at the orange level due to the continued growth of COVID-19 cases. Both zones had been moved to the orange level on October 9.
