COVID-19 in Alberta: Premier Kenney Outlines Vaccine Plans – December 2, 2020

In Edmonton, Jason Kenney, the premier of Alberta, provides an update on the provincial response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. In his remarks, the premier discusses planning for the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines and announces that Paul Wynnyk, Alberta’s deputy minister of municipal affairs, will head the province’s vaccine task force. The premier is joined by Mr. Wynnyk as well as Tyler Shandro, the Alberta health minister, and Dr. Deena Hinshaw, the province’s chief medical officer of health. (no interpretation)
