Nunavut Update on COVID-19: 8 New Cases in Arviat – Dec. 4, 2020
In Iqaluit, Joe Savikataaq, premier of Nunavut, Dr. Michael Patterson, Nunavut’s chief medical officer of health, and Lorne Kusugak, minister of health, provide an update on the territory’s response to COVID-19 (coronavirus disease). Nunavut is reporting eight new cases, all in the community of Arviat. A territory-wide lockdown was recently lifted in all communities except Arviat, which now has a total of 44 of the 51 active cases in Nunavut. (no interpretation)
