COVID-19 in N.B.: 32 New Cases, Outbreak at Edmundston Special Care Home
In Fredericton, Dr. Jennifer Russell, New Brunswick's chief medical officer of health, and Premier Blaine Higgs provide an update on the province's response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. The province is reporting 32 new cases of COVID-19 and declaring an outbreak at a second special care home in Edmundston, Le Pavillon Le Royer. Public health officials had declared an outbreak the previous day at Manoir Belle Vue. Zones 1 (Moncton region), 2 (Saint John region), 3 (Fredericton region) and 4 (Edmundston region) are currently under the red level of alert following an increase in the number of cases in the areas.
