COVID-19 in N.W.T.: Isolation Permitted in Fort Simpson, Norman Wells
In Yellowknife, Caroline Cochrane, the premier of the Northwest Territories, and Dr. Kami Kandola, the chief public health officer, provide an update on the response to COVID-19 in their jurisdiction. They announce that residents of Fort Simpson and Norman Wells can now self-isolate in their home communities following travel outside the territory. Previously, any returning residents from these communities were required to self-isolate for 14 days in Yellowknife, Hay River, Fort Smith, or Inuvik. (March 4, 2021) (no interpretation)
