Quebec to Open COVID-19 Vaccination for People 60 and Over – April 7, 2021
At a press conference in Montreal, Christian Dubé, Quebec’s minister of health and social services, provides an update on the province’s COVID-19 vaccination campaign. He is joined by Dr. Horacio Arruda, the province’s director of public health, as well as by Daniel Paré, director of Quebec’s COVID-19 vaccination campaign. The minister announces that the vaccination of all Quebecers aged 60 and over will begin on April 8. Immunization will also open in some regions for people over 55 who are willing to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine. Vaccination will also be extended to certain priority groups, including people currently hospitalized. (no interpretation)
