COVID-19: Canada Responds

Ontario Labour Minister on COVID-19 Workplace Inspections

At a news conference in Toronto, Monte McNaughton, Ontario’s minister of labour, training and skills development, makes an announcement concerning workplace inspections related to COVID-19 safety. Following the announcement, the minister responds to questions from reporters. The announcement comes as a province-wide stay-at-home order takes effect in Ontario. Under the new restrictions, the majority of non-essential businesses will be limited to curbside pick-up and delivery, while big box stores will only be allowed to sell essential items.
