B.C. Premier on Youth Employment Program, COVID-19 Response – April 13, 2021
At a news conference in Victoria, British Columbia Premier John Horgan announces the creation of a new $45-million program to help fund jobs, internships and co-op opportunities for young people in the province. An estimated 5,000 young people are expected to benefit from the program. He also takes questions on his government’s response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. Joining the premier are Ravi Kahlon, British Columbia’s minister for jobs, economic recovery and innovation, as well as Brittny Anderson, the MLA for Nelson-Creston. (no interpretation)
