Manitoba Cross-Border Truckers to Receive COVID-19 Vaccine from North Dakota
At a press conference in Winnipeg, Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister discusses vaccination for essential workers who have to cross the Canada-U.S. border. He is joined virtually by North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum. They announce that Manitoba-based truck drivers who cross the border to supply the province with goods will be allowed to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in in North Dakota free of charge. This is the first such program between a Canadian and American jurisdiction. The premier also responds to questions about the recently tabled federal budget. (April 20, 2021) (no interpretation)
