Saskatchewan Premier Outlines Reopening Plan – May 4, 2021
At a news conference in Regina, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe outlines his government’s three-step plan to gradually lift public health measures in place due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Each step of the plan is based on the percentage of residents who have been vaccinated, the availability of vaccines, and timing between steps. Based on the current pace of vaccinations, the province estimates it could enter Step 1 in the last week of May. Saskatchewan Health Authority CEO Scott Livingstone and Dr. Saqib Shahab, Saskatchewan’s chief medical officer of health, also take part in the briefing via videoconference. (no interpretation)
