Yukon Dropping Self-Isolation Requirement For Fully Vaccinated Travellers
In Whitehorse, Yukon Premier Sandy Silver and Dr. Brendan Hanley, Yukon's chief medical officer of health, provide an update on the territory's response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. The premier announces that as of May 25, people who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to self-isolate for 14 days upon entry to Yukon. People will need to self-isolate if their vaccination status cannot be confirmed. Also starting May 25, bars and restaurants in the territory will be allowed to return to full capacity for indoor dining service. (May 5, 2021) (no interpretation)
