In Halifax, Iain Rankin, the premier of Nova Scotia, and Dr. Robert Strang, the province’s chief medical officer of health, provide an update on the provincial response to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic. In his remarks, Premier Rankin announces his government has been granted an injunction by the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia to halt anti-vaccine and anti-public health order protests. The injunction also prohibits organizers from promoting illegal gatherings on social media.
