COVID-19: Canada Responds
Manitoba Announces Immunization Card For Fully Vaccinated People
In Winnipeg, Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister provides an update on his government's response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, as well as on vaccination measures. He announces that the province will issue an immunization card for people who have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. People must wait two weeks after getting their second dose to request a card. Manitobans who are fully immunized will not have to self-isolate for two weeks when returning from interprovincial travel. They will not also be required to self-isolate if they are deemed a close contact of a COVID-19 case. The premier says additional benefits for those who are fully vaccinated will be announced in the coming weeks. (June 8, 2021) (no interpretation)
