N.B. Premier Delivers State of the Province Address – February 10, 2021
New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs delivers the annual state of the province address from Fredericton. He highlights the more than $200 million in new private investment projects in the province, which he says is an indication of economic growth despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The premier also announces a dramatic reduction in this year's deficit projection, which is now expected to be $13 million. His government had initially projected a $343-million deficit in 2020 and later revised that figure to $183 million. His address is followed by a question-and-answer period with Krista Ross, CEO of the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce.
