2021 Liberal Convention – Conversation with Laure Waridel and Steven Guilbeault

Steven Guilbeault, the federal minister of Canadian heritage and a long-time environmental activist, is joined by Laure Waridel, eco-sociologist, activist, and author, for a conversation on the second day of the Liberal Party of Canada’s virtual national convention. Guilbeault and Waridel co-founded the environmental organization Équiterre in 1993 with four other friends and environmentalist activists. Guilbeault announced in 2018 that he was leaving the Montreal-based organization. He was elected MP for the Qubec riding of Laurier — Sainte-Marie in 2019.
