CRTC Hearing on Telecommunications Sales Practices The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) holds a public hearing in Gatineau, Quebec. The CRTC is examining possible misleading or aggressive sales practices used by Canada’s large telecommunications service providers. Presenting submissions are representatives from the Union des consommateurs, Ageing + Communication + Technologies (ACT) and the Fair Communications Sales Coalition, consisting of the Public Interest Advocacy Centre, ACORN Canada, National Pensioners Federation and Canadian Association of Retired Persons.
