Wet'suwet'en Supporters in Vancouver Hold News Conference
Protestors speak with reporters in Vancouver about their legal challenge of the injunction granted to the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority to stop the blockade of four ports in support of the Wet’suwet’en Nation's fight against a pipeline project. Over 50 people have been arrested since police enforced the injunction, which was served to protestors on February 9 following four days of the blockade. Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs oppose the construction of the Coastal GasLink pipeline that crosses their traditional territory in northern B.C. Protests and railway blockades have been held across the country in support of the pipeline fight. (February 12, 2020) (no interpretation)
