Governments Announce Joint Review of April Nova Scotia Attack
At a news conference in Halifax, Bill Blair, the federal minister of public safety and emergency preparedness, and Mark Furey, the Nova Scotia justice minister and attorney general, announce details of a joint review concerning the April 18–19, 2020 Nova Scotia attack. Twenty-two people were killed in the rampage, including Const. Heidi Stevenson, a 23-year veteran of the RCMP. (July 23, 2020)
