B.C. Premier John Horgan Calls Snap Election for October 24
British Columbia Premier John Horgan speaks with reporters in Victoria following his meeting with Lieutenant Governor Janet Austin. He announces that she has granted his request to dissolve the provincial legislature and to hold a snap election. Voters in B.C. will head to the polls on October 24, one year earlier than the fixed provincial election date of October 16, 2021.
