B.C. Premier Discusses Province’s Site C Dam Project – February 26, 2021

British Columbia Premier John Horgan holds a news conference in Victoria to provide an update on the province’s Site C dam project. He announces that his government will proceed with completing the project, despite an additional one-year delay and higher costs. The B.C. government now estimates it will cost $16 billion to complete the project, which is expected to be completed in 2025. The project had an original cost of $10.7 billion with a complete date of 2024. The premier is joined by provincial Energy Minister Bruce Ralston.
