Bloc Québécois Leader on Climate Change Target, COVID-19 Variants
At a press conference on Parliament Hill, Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet discusses Canada's new climate target to reduce emissions by 40 to 45 per cent below 2005 levels by 2030. The leader also responds to questions about the Conservatives’ call to temporarily suspend international flights arriving from "hotspot" countries such as India and Brazil in order to control the rapid spread of COVID-19 variants in Canada. He is joined by the Bloc Québécois environment critic Kristina Michaud. (April 22, 2021) (no interpretation)
