MPs Begin Debate on Ratification of New NAFTA – June 11, 2019

Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland, Conservative international trade critic Dean Allison, and NDP international trade critic Tracey Ramsey take part in the debate as the House begins the second reading of Bill C-100, the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement Implementation Act. The legislation would ratify the new North American trade deal that is set to replace NAFTA. The new agreement has not yet been ratified by Mexico or the United States.
