Tributes to the Late Mark Warawa – June 20, 2019

MPs Ed Fast (Conservative), John Aldag (Liberal), Nathan Cullen (NDP), Luc Thériault (Bloc Québécois), Elizabeth May (Green Party) and House of Commons Speaker Geoff Regan pay tribute in the House of Commons to the late Mark Warawa. The longtime B.C. MP died June 20 at the age of 69 after a battle with cancer.

Warawa, the Conservative MP for Langley-Aldergrove who was first elected in 2004, announced in January that he did not plan to seek re-election. He revealed in April that he had been diagnosed with cancer.
