Conservative Whip Mark Strahl, Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet, NDP House Leader Peter Julian, Green Parliamentary Leader Elizabeth May and Government House Leader Pablo Rodriguez make statements in the House of Commons as MPs pass a motion to suspend the House of Commons due to concerns about the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. The House was scheduled to return on March 23 following its week-long constituency break, but it is now suspended until April 20. The federal budget will no longer be tabled on March 30.
