Tributes to the Late Prince Philip – April 15, 2021
In the House of Commons, Dominic LeBlanc (president of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada and intergovernmental affairs minister), Alex Ruff (Conservative deputy whip), Alistair MacGregor (New Democrat MP), and Elizabeth May (Green party parliamentary leader) pay tribute to the late Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. Prince Philip died on April 9 at the age of 99. The husband of Queen Elizabeth II for more than 70 years, he was the longest-serving royal consort in British history. Prince Philip made more than 60 visits to Canada.
