Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland Faces Questions in Committee of the Whole

MPs question Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland during committee of the whole about her department’s spending estimates and priorities for the coming year.

Each fiscal year the Official Opposition chooses two departments for an estimates review by a committee of the whole. These reviews last a maximum of four hours each and must be held by May 31. Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau is scheduled to appear at committee at the whole on May 31. (May 26, 2021)
