Ministers Garneau, Gould and Ng Face Questions at Committee of the Whole
MPs question cabinet ministers Marc Garneau (foreign affairs), Karina Gould (international development) and Mary Ng (international trade) during committee of the whole about their respective department's spending estimates and priorities for the coming year. Each fiscal year the Official Opposition chooses two departments for an estimates review by a committee of the whole. These reviews last a maximum of four hours each and must be held by May 31. Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland appeared at committee at the whole on May 26. (May 31, 2021)
