The committee begins its study on the operation and practices of the Copyright Board of Canada, with testimony from representatives of copyright licensing bodies and content creators. Senators first hear from Martin Lavallée (Society for Reproduction Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers in Canada), Jason J. Kee (Google Canada), Caroline Rioux (Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency) and Erin Finlay (Access Copyright).
