Gun Control Advocates Speak to Senators on the Need for Increased Regulations
National Security and Defence - February 25, 2019 - Part 1: Supporters of increased gun control address the committee as part of its review of Bill C-71, the government’s proposed changes to firearms legislation. The bill would enhance required background checks and change authorization to transport rules, as well as require retailers to record of all firearm sales and inventories. Witnesses on a second panel from Canadian gun associations outline their concerns with the legislation.
