Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland on Rent Relief, Wage Subsidy

National Finance – November 12, 2020 – Part 1:

In a virtual meeting, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland responds to questions about changes to Bill C-9, a bill to provide financial aid to businesses hard-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. If passed, the bill would extend the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) until summer 2021 and would revamp the Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (CERS).
