CRA & CMHC Representatives Discuss Bill C-9

National Finance – November 13, 2020:

Representatives from the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) participate in the committee’s study of Bill C-9, a bill to provide financial aid to businesses hard-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. If passed, the bill would extend the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) until summer 2021 and would revamp the Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (CERS).

Participating in the study are CMHC’s Nadine Leblanc, as well as CRA’s Ted Gallivan, Randy Hewlett, and Geoff Trueman.
