Melinda J Phuong, Victoria deJong, Estelle Ah-Kiow, Elinor McNamee-Annett, Audrey Paquet, Stéphanie Pitre, Jayden Wlasichuk, and Janelle Hinds appear before the committee.
Daughters of the Vote is an initiative created by the organization Equal Voice to promote the participation of women in politics. Equal Voice selected 338 young women, representing every federal riding in Canada, to come to Ottawa for a week of special events. The initiative is marking 100 years of women’s formal federal political engagement. (March 7, 2017)
