Health Professionals Among Witnesses Presenting Priorities for 2019 Budget

Anti-poverty advocates and health professionals are among the witnesses taking part in the committee’s pre-budget consultations. Appearing before the committee in the first panel are Harriett McLachlan and Michèle Biss (Canada Without Poverty); Peter Bleyer (Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives); John McAvity and Bob Laidler (Canadian Museums Association); Amanjit Lidder (MNP LLP); Paul Taylor and Mark Kerzner (Mortgage Professionals Canada); and Massimo Bergamini (National Airlines Council of Canada).

MPs hear from the following witnesses during the second part of the meeting: Fred Phelps and Sally Guy (Canadian Association of Social Workers); Catherine Kells (Canadian Cardiovascular Society); Gigi Osler (Canadian Medical Association); Michael Villeneuve (Canadian Nurses Association); Joelle Walker (Canadian Pharmacists Association); and Scott Marks (International Association of Fire Fighters).
