Indigenous and Northern Affairs – June 4, 2019:

Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister Carolyn Bennett and Indigenous Services Minister Seamus O’Regan respectively defend their departmental budgets allocated in the 2019-2020 main estimates. The ministers face questions over the settlement for Sixties Scoop survivors, transportation for medical purposes, educational assistance, and more.

Also appearing at the committee are the Department of Indigenous Services Canada’s Jean-François Tremblay and Valerie Gideon, as well as the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development’s Paul Thoppil.
