Special COVID-19 Committee: Small Businesses & Workplace Safety

Special Committee on the COVID-19 Pandemic – May 6, 2020:

MPs commemorate the 75th anniversary of Canada’s contribution to the liberation of the Netherlands. On May 5, 1945, Canada and its allies helped liberate the Netherlands from Nazi occupation.

The government faces questions over its COVID-19 relief aid to small businesses and the fisheries industry, workplace and food safety, and more.

The House of Commons agreed to convene as a special committee three days each week, with in-person meetings taking place on Wednesdays and meetings via videoconference on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
