Auditor General’s Report on Respect in the Workplace

Public Accounts – January 28, 2021:

Representatives from the Canada Border Services Agency and Correctional Service of Canada respond to the auditor general’s 2019 Fall report concerning respect in the workplace. The report found that these two federal agencies did not do enough to promote and maintain respectful workplace environments when dealing with issues of harassment, discrimination, and violence.

Speaking to the committee are the Office of the Auditor General’s Martin Dompierre (Assistant Auditor General), Canada Border Services Agency’s John Ossowski (President), and Correctional Service of Canada’s Anne Kelly (Commissioner).
