Beverley McLachlin Reflects on the Canadian Judiciary
Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin reflects on the Canadian judiciary in a speech to the Empire Club of Canada in Toronto. In her address, Chief Justice McLachlin speaks about the changes that have occurred since she first became a judge in 1981, and the challenges that lie ahead. McLachlin is the country's longest-serving chief justice. She will retire from the Supreme Court of Canada by the end of the year, on December 15. (November 14, 2017)
