China at a Crossroads – Panel 2

The Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights and the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies holds a virtual conference entitled “China at a Crossroads: Standing up for Human Rights During the Pandemic.” The second panel, “China’s political prisoners and mistreatment of minorities,” features Nury Turkel (Uighur human rights lawyer, founder of the Uighur Human Rights Project), Kyle Matthews (Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies), Naomi Kikoler (Director of the Simon-Skjodt Center for the Prevention of Genocide at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum) and Sheng Xue (vice Chairperson of the Federation for a Democratic China).
