Ridings to Watch
Edmonton Mill Woods and Edmonton Centre
One of several surprises in the 2015 election was the Liberals under Justin Trudeau picking up two seats in Edmonton, Alberta. The margins of victory in both ridings were close: 1200 votes in Edmonton Centre and only 92 votes in Edmonton Mill Woods. This time around the party knows that keeping those two seats in the Liberal fold will go a long way towards the party keeping its majority. CPAC’s Ed Watson reports on both ridings including Edmonton Mill Woods where Natural Resources Minister Amarjeet Sohi is up against his old foe Tim Uppal of the Conservatives. Nigel Logan is the New Democrat and Tanya Herbert is the Green. In Edmonton Centre, it's another rematch where Liberal Randy Boissonnault is facing off again against the Conservative James Cumming. Katherine Swampy is the New Democrat and Grad Murray is the Green.
