COVID-19: Canada Responds
N.B. Update on COVID-19: ‘Atlantic Bubble’ Begins July 3rd
In Fredericton, Dr. Jennifer Russell, New Brunswick's chief medical officer of health, and Premier Blaine Higgs provide an update on the province's response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) pandemic, including the announcement of the creation of a travel ‘bubble’ comprising the four Atlantic provinces. As of July 3, 2020, travellers between Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia will not be required to self-isolate. Visitors arriving in Atlantic Canada from elsewhere will still be required to adhere to individual provinces’ rules concerning self-isolation for travellers. (June 24, 2020) (no interpretation)
