Quebec Update on COVID-19 and Police Operation OSCAR

In a news conference in Québec City, Quebec Deputy Premier and Public Security Minister Geneviève Guilbault unveils the results of the province’s police operation that took place over the weekend that aimed to enforce public-health rules in restaurants and bars. Police targeted those businesses amid an increase in COVID-19 cases in Quebec. A total of 2,206 establishments were visited, with more than 90 fines handed out to people for violating the province-wide rules. Minister Guilbault is joined by Dr. Horacio Arruda, Quebec’s director of public health. (no interpretation)
